Canada Goose

Not featured in the Museum’s list, but a distinctive (and controversial) speces in and near the Embankment of Bedford.

A large brown goose with a black neck and white cheek patch that has been introduced to Britain and has prospered.        

Voice-Strident aah-honk    

Habitat - Occasional vagrants from N America winter with grey geese on marshland.    

Nest-Bulky down-lined cup, usually near water.  

Diet-Grass together with some aquatic vegetation.
