Qualifications and
Certificates Celebration
Over the past few
weeks the E2E and A2B learners have been working hard to achieve qualifications
for themselves. Among the results were Open College Network certificates in
‘Being at work’, ‘Photography’, and ‘Personal Development’ to name a few.
Manual Handling, Electronic Digital Competence Certificates and First Aid were
also awarded to certain learners. To celebrate their achievements, a few of the
learners teamed up to plan an event for the ceremony which included a BBQ and a
sharing of their talents on the DJ decks.
The event was attended
by all learners and staff, where the majority of learners received at least one
certificate, with some gaining 4 or more. The certificate giving was delivered
by Doug McWilliam who congratulated the learners on their progress. Each recipient
posed for a photograph with their certificates, which for some learners showed
a great progression in their confidence. The event was enjoyed by all and the
learners left congratulating each other and feeling a sense of pride in their
achievement.
